PCManFM 1.0

PCManFM is arriving "dangerously" to 1.0 final (now it's jusrt a release candidate). A lot of improvements within, like external thumbnailer support, new file attribute dialog, support for modifier keys on drag and drop, symbolic link creation, individual wallpapers per desktop and documentation. See the changes and download (if you  like to compile by yourself). Or wait for Lubuntu repos update. It won't be too late.

Via LXDE Blog.

  1. For those (anonymous disappeared :D ) PCManFM 1.0 is not GTK3 or Vala. But I inform you that a "fork" (not really, more an alternate test of itself) if being made on Vala over GTK3.

Anyway, all the LXDE environment is moving onto GTK3, it's inevitable.

  2. Why chromium is out of date. I have 18 version but 20 is available?

  3. I'm using 18 too. That's the stable one that ships with Lubuntu. If you want the release 20 you'll need some additional repositories, and may be unstable. Remember that it's pre-alpha, I do not recommend it at all.

  8. Nope, I'm not the maintainer of LSC. But anyway, there's no pictures on most of the apps, and that is a bug of Ubuntu Software Center, which have no uploaded ones. They will be updated soon.

The openbox tickling is really a bug. It happens with some GTK3 apps. It's being corrected.

    Thank you for your advice.

  11. Theredbaron - this is private build with some changes who prefer this guy who upload it. It's not official update, i like programs form ubuntu repository, Chromium is in Universe repository and is still in version 18 but stable is in 20 version.
